I decided to become a SoleMate because running has played a huge role in shaping who I am today, and I want to help pass that impact on to others. The Girls on the Run program is especially meaningful to me because it inspires confidence, strength, and resilience in young girls—qualities that are so important both in sports and in life. Being a SoleMate gives me the opportunity to support a program that empowers girls at such a critical age. Girls on the Run is important to me because it helped spark my own passion for running and showed me how powerful it can be to feel confident as a female athlete. Through programs like this, girls learn not only how to stay active, but also how to believe in themselves, build healthy relationships, and embrace who they are. I want to help make sure more girls have access to that same experience and grow up feeling strong, capable, and confident.
