Last summer Alexander discovered rowing as a sport and has really flourished and enjoyed being on the team this year. He has grown in so many ways - knowledge of the sport, new friendships created and physically becoming stronger! What a fun transformation it has been. And even more special to know he is following in his Papa's footsteps - must be in the blood! Next year he will be an 8th grader and a leader on the team.
Alexander, along with his teammates are going to row 500,000 meters on an erg machine as a fundraiser for their club. This is the distance from Tallahassee to Jacksonville!! My legs hurt just thinking about it.
He has pledged to raise at least $300 to meet his goal and will do his part to get his team to that 500,000 meter distance! He is asking for donations to help him get to that goal!
