In October, I'll be completing my 27th Half Marathon in Milwaukee with Girls on the Run Southeastern Wisconsin! As the proud Young Professionals Board Chairperson for Girls on the Run Southeastern Wisconsin, I’m dedicated to helping realize our vision of a world where every girl is empowered to boldly pursue her dreams.
Running has transformed my confidence and resilience in ways I never imagined possible. I've learned that growth comes from the consistency and courage to keep moving forward, even when the finish line feels far away. Every goal we accomplish, whether small or large, we build self confidence. There is no better feeling than reaching a level you thought was out of reach. It becomes our inspiration for our next challenge.
This half marathon will be a special one, as I will be running in a city I've called home for over 15 years, to help ensure every girl in our community has the opportunity to discover the confidence that running can inspire. When girls gain self confidence, they begin to see their own potential. And that is when the real magic happens.
Your contribution helps ensure that every girl has the opportunity to benefit from this life-changing experience, regardless of their financial situation.
