Hey friends! I’m back at it — training, fundraising, and running with heart 💖
After a few 10-mile races and a dream of running a marathon in my 25th year, I became a SoleMate for Girls on the Run MN in 2023 to run the Twin Cities Marathon. Plot twist? It was cancelled due to extreme heat 😅 — but I kept training, kept going, and finally crossed that finish line in 2024! Now, I’m gearing up for my next big goal: Grandma’s Half Marathon in Duluth on June 20, 2026! And I’m proud to once again be running for more than just a medal — I’m running for the next generation of strong, confident girls.
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a program close to my heart. As an Associate Board Member, I get to see how powerful it is when girls in 3rd–8th grade learn to move their bodies, use their voices, and believe in themselves. Through running and a proven curriculum, they build self-respect, healthy habits, and lifelong skills. At the end of each season, they run a 5K with a trusted adult — and you can feel the joy, pride, and confidence radiating from every finish line.
My goal is to raise $750 to help make GOTR accessible to more girls across Minnesota. Every dollar helps make sure cost is never a barrier for a girl who wants to participate.
So I’m asking: will you join me on this journey? Whether it’s through a donation, a cheer, or sharing this page, your support helps girls run strong — in every sense of the word. Let’s do this — for her, for them, for the future 🏃♀️💪💖
