Support Capital City Rowing at Ergathon 2026!
The Ergathon is Capital City Rowing’s annual fundraiser. Athletes solicit pledges from family, friends, and local businesses and then erg in shifts toward a common goal. "Erg" is short for ergometer, which is the rowing machine that the athletes use for training and fitness. During the Ergathon, the athletes work together to row a total of 500,000 meters on the rowing machines, while being cheered on by teammates, family and friends. Funds raised are used for equipment purchases and maintenance, registration fees and travel expenses to regattas, and coaches’ salaries and expenses. All funds raised ease the burden of the rowers’ families to financially support the organization.
CCR athletes have had tremendous success this season at regattas with a number of gold, silver and bronze medals against highly competitive teams throughout Florida and the entire Southeast. Also, the athletes have shown an amazing level of individual growth through their participation in CCR. With your support, CCR can continue to support the growth and healthy lifestyle for our athletes. We are deeply grateful of your support and we look forward to the continued success of our athletes.
