Yes, we are all in. Stripping down the tandem Hobie and peddling 340 miles to St Charles. The Missouri River watershed needs our help. Missouri River Relief hosts wonderful programs all season on the river but can't continue to do it without help. You might not know that volunteers have removed 2 million pounds of trash from the river. Tens of thousands of school children have learned the importance of the Muddy Mo watershed to their community. We're making a difference out there...thanks to you!
Conditioning started last September. Serious weight and endurance training have started with a bang. I've always been the support person for Mama's Boys but this year I am in the race with Popeye as we celebrate our 40th year as a couple.
We have talked a family friend into being our support person. He's a former Ranger with a malinois and a fun sense of the absurd, so he's the right person to keep us focused and motivated.
