While I have always been involved in sports, it wasn't until the last handful of years that I've really found a passion for moving my body and doing hard things. I've experienced firsthand how movement builds my confidence, improves my mental health and, therefore, my relationships, and, of course, makes me feel better physically.
That's why I've decided to fundraise for Girls on the Run Minnesota as part of my participation in the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon. This organization is dedicated to empowering young girls through running, fostering the same love of movement that I've gained in my own life.
My fundraising efforts will contribute to programs that teach life skills, promote healthy habits, and build a supportive community for girls across Minnesota. I'm passionate about ensuring that these young girls have the tools to navigate growing up with strength and self-assurance.
