I am passionate about supporting Girls on the Run because I believe in the transformative power of this program. Girls on the Run is a movement that empowers young girls to embrace their individuality, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. Each step they take during the season is growth towards becoming stronger, more resilient individuals. The journey they embark on is not just about completing a 5K; it’s about discovering their inner strength and learning to face challenges head-on.
Supporting Girls on the Run means investing in the future of girls. It gives the tools necessary to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and grace.
Being a coach, volunteer, board member, and parent involved with Girls on the Run has been incredibly meaningful to me. As a coach, I have the privilege of guiding young girls through their journey, watching them grow stronger and more confident with each practice. Volunteering at events allows me to see the joy and pride on their faces as they achieve their goals. Serving on the Board of Directors gives me the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the program, ensuring its sustainability and growth. And as a parent, I am grateful for the positive impact Girls on the Run has had on my own daughter, helping her develop resilience and self-belief.
Each of these roles has deepened my commitment to the mission of Girls on the Run. I have seen firsthand how the program creates a supportive community where girls can thrive. It’s a place where they learn to embrace their unique qualities, build lasting friendships, and develop a sense of belonging. The lessons they learn last beyond each practice; shaping the girls into confident, compassionate individuals who are ready to take on the world.
Your support will help us continue to provide this invaluable experience to more girls, empowering them to become the best versions of themselves. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their lives and help them run towards a brighter, more confident future.
Thank you for your support!
