This November, I’ll be running the New York City Marathon. 26.2 miles with a purpose far bigger than the finish line.
For years, I’ve been involved with Girls on the Run as a coach and board member, and through my community-engaged learning course at Penn State, I’ve seen firsthand the power of connecting passion, purpose, and community impact. Girls on the Run does more than teach girls how to run, it equips them with the tools to be healthy, joyful, and confident. It shows them that their voices matter, their goals are achievable, and their strength inside and out is real.
As a coach, I’ve watched girls who doubted themselves cross their own finish lines with pride. I’ve seen confidence grow with every practice, every encouragement, and every mile. That transformation is why I run.
By supporting my marathon journey, you are investing in programs that inspire girls to believe in themselves and realize they can achieve anything they set their minds to, whether that’s finishing a 5K, leading in their community, or chasing a lifelong dream.
My goal is to raise $5,500 to ensure more girls have access to this life-changing experience.
Every mile I run is for them.
Every dollar you give helps a girl step into her strength.
Thank you for being part of this journey. 💜🏃♀️
