Right now, girls are facing challenges like never before. At an age when girls are already vulnerable to decreased self-esteem, the COVID-19 pandemic and societal tensions have led to even more exclusion. During stay-at-home orders alone, cyberbullying has increased by 70% overall.
Georgetown University Running Club is stepping up when girls need it most and we need YOU to join us. This fall, Georgetown University Running Club is fundraising for Girls on the Run-DC. Girls on the Run-DC brings girls from diverse backgrounds together to learn from one another. Volunteer coaches use Girls on the Run-DC's research-based curriculum to teach girls about their limitless power and leadership tools they'll use for life.
Your donation will give girls at Washington Latin PCS the opportunity to participate in this life-changing program, regardless of their family's ability to pay. You can give girls a safe space to be active, learn important social-emotional lessons and cultivate meaningful friendships. Will you tell her that she’s still being seen and heard? Will you show her that even if her world has been upended, her potential is still limitless?! Your generosity is powerful. Donate today!
