On March 15, I’m lacing up for the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half to raise money for Girls on the Run NYC—and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I’m running because I believe every girl deserves to discover just how strong, brave, and capable she truly is. Girls on the Run isn’t just about crossing a finish line; it’s a life-changing program that combines running with powerful lessons in confidence, kindness, teamwork, and standing up for what’s right.
I’ve heard the stories how this program helps girls navigate challenges, celebrate who they are, and realize they have the power to make a real difference in the world. Watching a shy third-grader light up when she realizes she can run a 5K—or hearing a middle-schooler say she finally feels like she belongs—is the kind of magic that keeps me coming back.
By supporting my run, you’re giving more NYC girls access to these 10 transformative weeks: the lessons, the friendships, the joy of saying “I did it!” when they thought they couldn’t. Every dollar helps fund scholarships, coach training, and program materials so no girl is turned away.
Will you join me in empowering the next generation of unstoppable girls? Any gift, big or small, means one more girl gets to experience the confidence that comes from putting one foot in front of the other—both on the course and in life. Thank you for being part of her journey! 🩷
