Help me fundraise for Scholarships!
Running the New York City Marathon has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I’m so excited to finally do it—especially in support of Girls on the Run.
I came to running and fitness later in life, and it’s become an important way for me to take care of my physical and mental health. That’s why this mission resonates so deeply. Girls on the Run helps young girls develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging through movement, mentorship, and community—giving them tools I wish I had growing up.
As a mom to a very active four-year-old girl, this feels especially personal. I want her—and all girls—to grow up knowing their strength, supporting one another, and feeling empowered to go after what they want.
I’ve run 10 half marathons, but this will be my first full marathon. Taking on 26.2 miles is a huge personal milestone, and I’m proud to do it in support of programs that help girls discover their confidence and potential early in life. I’ll be sharing training updates with my donors along the way, and you can follow along on social media.
Founded in 2012, Girls on the Run Hudson Valley is dedicated to making an impact on girls' lives in our community. Every dollar raised supports the Scholarship Fund, ensuring all girls in our community—regardless of financial circumstances—can access these life-changing programs.
My goal is to raise $3,000 by race day in support of Girls on the Run. Will you support me by making a donation?
Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me!
