This charity is amazing! We are a sports family. My husband has coached female players for 30+ years and is currently coaching high school softball. We have talked a lot through the years about how the costs associated with sports keeps many from being able to play. We have willingly spent money from our own pockets on registrations, equipment and tournament costs just to give girls the opportunity to play softball, so when I found Girls on the Run I knew I wanted to be apart of it. Every girl who wants to play sports should have the opportunity to do so, regardless of finances. I'm looking forward to helping Girls on the Run and being a part of a wonderful group of runners running for the same cause!
