This year, I’m taking on one of my biggest challenges yet, running a marathon, as a proud SoleMate for Girls on the Run. The Philadelphia Marathon takes place on November 23, and every mile I run will help empower girls in our community to be strong, confident, and healthy.
Running has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From my first mile in middle school, to my first 5K, to a half marathon in college, each step has brought me a sense of accomplishment that’s hard to put into words. Running has been more than just exercise for me, It’s been a source of strength, joy, and mental clarity. It has taught me the power of setting a goal and pushing myself to achieve it, even when it feels impossible.
I’m running this marathon for myself, my mental and physical health and for the belief that every girl should feel the same sense of accomplishment and empowerment that running has given me. With your support, every donation, no matter the size, moves us closer to the finish line — both mine and theirs. Thank you for cheering me on and helping me reach this goal!
