I’ve been involved with Girls on the Run since 2010—15 years of running, coaching, cheering, and shining with this program. Over the years I’ve had the joy of serving as a Running Buddy, Sparkle Runner, 5K Race Committee member, Coach, SoleMate, and now as part of the brand-new Impact Committee for Girls on the Run Greater Tampa Bay. I love this program because I’ve seen it work. Girls on the Run helps 3rd–8th grade girls build confidence, resilience, and positive life skills—all through the power of running. And I’m committed to ensuring that every girl who wants to participate can, no matter her family’s financial situation. This October, I’ll take on the challenge of the 50th Marine Corps Marathon. I run because I love to test limits, because I’m grateful for the health and strength to do so, and because running with purpose adds meaning to every mile. My goal is to celebrate this milestone marathon by raising support for a program that changes lives. Together, we can help more girls cross their own finish lines—with courage, joy, and of course, plenty of sparkle.
Be part of my 50!
