October 11th is International Day of the Girl — a global day dedicated to recognizing girls' rights and the barriers they still face in finding their voice, building confidence, and imagining what's possible for their future.
At Girls on the Run Rio Grande, that mission isn't just one day a year — it's our work every season. We deliver girl-empowering programming to 3rd–5th graders across three counties, pairing physical activity with lessons in confidence, emotional awareness, friendship, and empathy. This International Day of the Girl, we're asking friends like you to help us reach more girls. Every dollar goes directly toward girls in our community building the confidence and skills to imagine their possibilities.
