On March 15, I am running the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half for Girls on the Run NYC, a youth-centered, transformative running-based program.
If you've spoken to me in the last year you've probably heard my theory that anyone can run a half marathon untrained if you put your mind to it. I’m excited to be putting that belief to the test with a charity specifically focused on empowering young girls to build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self. As a former Division I swimmer, I know firsthand how much strength, discipline, and character sports can build, and Girls on the Run gives those same gifts to girls at a pivotal age. Their programs teach young athletes that they are capable, courageous, and deserving of every finish line they dream of crossing. I’m proud to run 13.1 miles for an organization that mirrors the lessons sports gave me.
Will you join me by making a gift to Girls on the Run today?
