Girls on the Run is an empowering after-school program for girls! Research shows that girls who participate in this program improve in how much they like the kind of person they are, and are more likely to say they have classmates who like them the way they are. Girls who are least active at the start of a season increase their physical activity levels by 40% and maintain that beyond season’s end. And 97% of girls learn critical life skills including how to manage emotions, resolve conflict, help others or make intentional decisions that they use at home, at school and with their friends!
Every season, more than 50% of the girls who participate in Girls on the Run receive financial assistance to be able to do so. Will you help me to support these girls by giving to my fundraiser as I prepare for the Girls on the Run 5K on April 29? Thank you!
