As lifelong Disney fans, many of the most meaningful milestones in our relationship have happened at Disney, from our engagement to our wedding. So when we decided to tackle our first 5K together, it felt only fitting to make it part of our story as well. After all, every great adventure begins by going to infinity and beyond!
This race is about more than crossing a finish line. As a former Girls on the Run employee and coach, I have spent more than a decade helping young girls discover their confidence, courage, and limitless potential. I have witnessed firsthand the incredible transformation that happens when a girl realizes she is capable of more than she ever imagined.
While I am beginning a new chapter in my own journey, my commitment to empowering the next generation remains unchanged. Girls on the Run has given so much to me over the past 10+ years, and this fundraiser is an opportunity for us to give back to an organization that continues to inspire and equip young girls to become strong, confident women.
