On July 18th, I'm taking on a meaningful challenge in Leadville, Colorado—hiking two 14,000-foot peaks in two days to support Girls on the Run Rockies (GOTR). This challenge will push me to cover 24 miles and climb 9,200 feet in elevation.
Running has been my lifelong passion and outlet, a constant companion through life's ups and downs. Now, I'm channeling that love for a cause close to my heart.
GOTR intervenes at a crucial time—around age 9—when girls often face declining self-confidence. Through a blend of running, mentorship, and life skills training, GOTR equips girls with tools to navigate challenges with strength and self-belief.
My goal is to raise $3,000 for GOTR, ensuring the program remains accessible to all girls, with 60% of participants receiving scholarships. It's about removing financial barriers and opening doors to empowerment.
Each step up those mountains represents progress towards a future where every girl can realize her potential. Your support is an investment in the next generation of strong, confident young women.
Let's help these young girls!
