Both Girls on the Run and Robin Hood are close to my heart.
While working as an Elementary Teacher I helped coach a local chapter of Girls on the Run at my school and was in awe of the camaraderie, heart, and hard work these girls put in to each week. Girls on the Run is an after school program that supports girls in grades 3 - 8 with lessons on empathy, community, and problem solving as well as physical training culminating in a 5k at the end of the season.
I met my husband because of the movie Robin Hood and now we love sharing it with our daughter, who is on her way to her first 5k next year.
