Fuel the Next Generation of TrackGirlz
TrackGirlz was founded in 2015 by Olympian and Olympic Coach Mechelle Lewis Freeman, who knows firsthand how the sport of track and field can change a girl’s life. For Mechelle, running wasn’t just about medals, it was a gateway to self-discovery, education, and empowerment. But she also knew that not every girl has the same access to those opportunities.
That’s why she created TrackGirlz, a women-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls through the transformative power of track and field. What started as a personal passion has grown into a movement of mentorship, leadership, and community that reaches girls across the country.
Through our programs, girls gain more than athletic skills—they gain confidence, sisterhood, and the belief that they can achieve anything. We connect them with women mentors, wellness professionals, and athletes who model resilience and self-worth. Our curriculum blends sport, wellness, and leadership to teach girls how to set goals, care for their bodies, and believe in their power.
But we can’t do it alone.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising $5,000 to expand access to TrackGirlz programs, clinics, and scholarships. Your donation—no matter the size—directly supports the next generation of girls who are ready to run toward their dreams.
When you give, you’re not just funding a program.
You’re fueling confidence.
You’re building community.
You’re helping a girl see herself as powerful, capable, and unstoppable.
💜 Donate today and help us empower the next generation of TrackGirlz—one lap, one girl, one dream at a time.
