On August 30, 2026, I'll be competing in a sprint triathlon in Charlottesville, VA. I’m fundraising for Girls on the Run Piedmont in honor of my sister, Susan "Jill" Holczer who died unexpectedly in February 2024.
She had a bit of a track record as my personal lifesaver; twice from drowning, once involving lightning, and countless times rescuing me from my own questionable decisions.
This is my way of honoring her by helping girls build the same strength, courage, and support she gave me. I was lucky enough to have that in my sister. Now I get to help create that for someone else.
Girls on the Run inspires individuals of all abilities to discover, build, and grow their self-confidence. It costs $175 for a girl to participate for one season, and no one is ever turned away. As a board member and mother to a 4x Girls on the Run alumni, I’d be so grateful if you would support this amazing non-profit.
