On December 7th at the California International Marathon, I’m taking on a challenge that combines two things I care deeply about — running and empowering girls to find strength, confidence, and joy in movement. I’m attempting to break the world record for the fastest marathon run in a skirt to raise awareness and funds for Girls on the Run, celebrating the message that femininity and athleticism can coexist powerfully.
Running has been so instrumental in my own journey, helping me gain the confidence and strength that has allowed me to succeed in all walks of life. I want every girl to have the chance to experience that same sense of empowerment and community and to learn to believe that they are capable of anything they can dream of.
By donating, you’d be helping girls gain access to running programs that teach them to set goals, care for their physical and mental health, and find both confidence and joy in moving their bodies and building relationships with others. No donation is too small and I greatly appreciate anything you are able to give!
Please join me in supporting Girls on the Run and showing the world that, mo matter what they wear, when girls run, they can do anything.
