On November 1, I am running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon for Girls on the Run NYC, a transformative program that helps girls grow stronger, both physically and emotionally.
I want to fundraise for Girls on the Run because, in many ways, I am running for a younger version of myself. As a Division I track athlete, running has shaped who I am, teaching me discipline, resilience, confidence, and how to believe in myself even when things get hard. I remember being a young girl trying to figure it all out and wondering whether I was good enough. Girls on the Run gives participants the tools to manage emotions, build strong friendships, express empathy, and develop confidence...all alongside the joy of running.
I truly believe women are unstoppable. But girls have to believe that first. They deserve to grow up knowing they can take up space, chase big goals, lead boldly, and do anything they set their minds to, in sport and in life.
Will you join me by making a gift to Girls on the Run today? Every mile I run and every dollar raised will help girls build confidence early, so they grow into strong, fearless, self-assured women.
