A minimum of two volunteer coaches are needed to lead a GOTR team. Volunteer coaches do not need to be runners...just have enthusiasm and be committed to the healthy development of girls. Coaches will be fully trained and provided with all materials necessary to successfully lead their team.

Girls on the Run SEMI is accepting applications to host a 2021 Spring Girls on the Run (elementary) or Heart & Sole (middle school) program. If planning to host both programs at your site, please submit two separate applications indicating each program's days, times and coaches. Upon submission of your application, our staff will review and respond to your request in a timely manner. Because of Covid-19 this year, Girls on the Run is offering each site the option of hosting in person, virtually, or both! All in person sites will have the support and tools to safely conduct their sessions as well as the ability to effortlessly switch to virtual programming should there be a need at any time during the season.

Please be sure to read through the "GOTR Upstate NY 2023 Site Guidelines" document on the RIGHT side bar here or on our website (www.gotrupstateny.org under "Locations", "Starting a New Site") before completing this application. This document will provide you with an overview of our program and the responsibilities of program sites. Keep in mind you can run your program before school, after school or in the evening at a school, YMCA or Community Center!
