21st Annual Missouri American Water MR340

Missouri River Relief

The MR340 is the world's longest nonstop river race hosted by Missouri River Relief! Held each summer during a full moon on the Missouri River, racers traverse 340 miles from Kaw Point in Kansas City, KS to the Lewis & Clark Boathouse and Museum in St Charles, MO. Racers will race through the day and night.

2026 will be the 21st Annual Missouri American Water MR340.

The 2026 MR340 will be held July 28-31, 2026. Mandatory Race Check-in is Monday July 27. Race Start is Tuesday, July 28, 2026.  Solo boats start at 7 am while tandems and teams start at 8 am. Racers have 85/86 total hours to complete the race by 9pm Friday, July 31, 2026.

Up to 500 boats carrying 700 racers will take on the challenge each year. This yearly event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Missouri River Relief. All proceeds allow MRR to carry out their mission to engage communities and individuals along the Missouri River in exploration, enjoyment, restoration and care of the river through education, stewardship, and races/recreation.
