Girls on the Run Central Florida - 2026 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend

SoleMates is the charity running “leg” of Girls on the Run® and uses the power of running to make a difference for our girls.  Individuals (men and women) raise money to support our program while pursuing their own goals such as running a 5K, 10K or marathon.

Girls on the Run (GOTR) Central Florida is thrilled to once again partner with runDisney to bring you access to fundraise in support of GOTR Central Florida local programming, all while enjoying the joy and camaraderie of the runDisney community at the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend! 

Themed to different storybook genres, the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend presented by STATE FARM promises to be quite the page turner! You can enjoy a sci-fi 5K hosted by Pluto. Go nuts over a mysterious 10K led by Chip ‘n Dale. Fall for a romantic half marathon featuring Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. Or experience a fantasy-filled marathon ruled by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. And if you are ready for the ultimate experience - you can not only choose from four different races but there are TWO Challenge Events!

• Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge because laughter is the best medicine when you finish both the half marathon and marathon for a total of 39.3 miles, receiving a bonus medal for your achievement!
• Dopey Challenge is the ultimate fairy tale feat is finishing all four Walt Disney Marathon Weekend races for a total of 48.6 miles and six medals!
