Girls on the Run Birmingham Fall 2026 Program

Girls on the Run Birmingham Metro

Girls on the Run (3rd-5th grades) and Heart & Sole (6th-8th grades) are curriculum based, after-school character development programs designed for girls of ALL fitness and ability levels.  The 8 week curriculum is designed to help each girl find and stay true to her REAL self.  Groups of up to 15 girls meet twice a week with their trained, volunteer coaches to discuss important life lessons while playing fun running games. Both programs emphasize independent thinking, making healthy choices, healthy group dynamics and problem solving.  The curriculum stresses peer support and doing your best.  The season culminates with the girls participating in a non-competitive 5k event.  Girls on the Run is SO MUCH FUN!
