Girls on the Run Capital Region
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Girls on the Run Capital Region Spring 5k Celebration! The race is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th at the Joseph Bruno Stadium, Troy, NY!
We aim to ensure that all of our runners, coaches, parents, family members, and spectators have a positive experience before, during, and after our 5K events. In order to succeed, we need a team of enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers to help bring this event to life! We are incredibly grateful that you would like to join our Girls on the Run Capital Region team of volunteers!
Our 5k volunteers perform a variety of functions on race day including but not limited to the following*:
- Race Set-up
- Day Of Race-Registration
- Course Marshalls
- Running Buddies
- GOTR Merchandise Shop
- Water Stations
- Post Race Refreshments
- Cheer Stations
- Race Clean-Up
*Please indicate in your application if you have any restrictions that prohibit you from volunteering for certain tasks.*
