Program cost includes:

• 20 lessons conducted by certified Girls on the Run & Heart & Sole Coaches
• Girls on the Run race day t-shirt & GOTR water bottle
• Coaching from extensively trained volunteers & lesson materials 
• Entry into the end of season 5K celebration, including a finisher's medal

* There is a registration event fee for family/friends serving as adult 5K Buddies at the end of season Celebratory 5K (there is no additional 5K registration fee for registered participants and team coaches)

Financial Assistance: 

We will NEVER turn a participant away due to financial constraints. We offer financial assistance based on household income, and this financial assistance is available in the checkout section of this form. Follow the steps to access the sliding scale fee (range from $25-$190) - no further paperwork is required.  A two-time payment plan is also offered, with one payment due at check-out and the other a month later.  

Key Season Dates: 

• Teams are starting the week of February 23, 2026.  Your site’s head coach will contact you a week before the season with start date details. 
• All teams will end with a culminating celebratory 5K event on May 9, 2026.  

Registration Process:

Registration is open online.  After the lottery, spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are placed on the waiting list upon registering, don't worry! We will do everything we can to add additional team options to accommodate all participants who wish to participate this season.
