Junior Lifeguard Camp
Dates: June 26-28 2024 Times: 9 am to 4 pm
The benefits of the Junior Lifeguarding program include:
A defined course with a set lesson plan that includes developing swimming skills and practicing in-water rescues to prepare for becoming a certified lifeguard.͘
An introduction to first aid, CPR and AED knowledge and skills is also included.
Hands on training from head guards and managers
Certificate of completion for participants who successfully complete the course ͘ The certificate does not indicate that the person is trained to be a lifeguard, and there is no validity period.
Teamwork and leadership skill development for future employment
Peer building with participants that are interested in the aquatics field
