Over the course of my lifetime, I've received several scholarships and fellowships, support which helped me attend university, take on unpaid internships, attend ALA Girls State and so much more - all with more financial security than most in my position. Today, as a member of the GOTR Young Professionals Board and the St. Louis community, I'm working to pay it forward and help more young women get involved with GOTR programming.
Independent studies have shown that, through Girls on the Run, 97% of girls learned critical life skills, including resolving conflict, helping others and making intentional decisions. GOTR St. Louis serves over 4,000 girls each year across 23 counties. Let's make a difference!
