At Girls on the Run we envision a world where all girls know and activate their limitless potential. And more than that, we are working to make that vision a reality - one where girls can navigate their lives with confidence and joy.
Thank you for making a difference!
Since 2010, community support has allowed us to serve over 3,000 girls
and offer scholarship assistance to 50% of our participants,
totaling over $190,000 in scholarship funding awarded!
OUR MISSION
We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident
using a fun, experience-based curriculum
which creatively integrates running.
OUR PROGRAM
Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 positive youth development program
for girls in 3rd - 8th grade.
Teams of 8-20 girls meet twice a week for ten weeks
and learn healthy, sustainable life skills through fun, engaging lessons
that celebrate the joy of movement.
Our core curriculum addresses many aspects of girls’ development –
their physical, emotional, mental and social well-being.
The season culminates with the girls participating in a
celebratory, non-competitive 5k run/walk.
This 5k is all about unleashing confidence through accomplishment;
at Girls on the Run, the finish line is just the beginning.
