Girls on the Run has held a special place in my heart since I volunteered as a coach in 2018 and I'm excited to be supporting GOTR on the Young Professionals Board and as a SoleMate again! I truly believe in the power of GOTR programs to empower young girls to be confident and healthy through physical movement and emotional skill building. Throughout my life, exercise in various forms has allowed me to strengthen my sense of self, build emotional intelligence and unlock my potential. GOTR provides girls the knowledge and practice they need to develop these skills at a young age and every girl deserves access to these life-changing programs.
In February, I will be tackling my 3rd half marathon in my hometown, Atlanta! While I train for this race, I am raising money to support GOTR Georgia. I am fundraising to provide 5 FULL SCHOLARSHIPS for local girls because every girl deserves access to this type of education and empowerment no matter their socio-economic status.
Thank you for your contributions and I hope you'll cheer me on as I tackle 13.1 and cross the finish line in support of Girls on the Run!
