The Girls on the Run Fall 2024 season is officially underway! But we need your help. This season, we anticipate $30,000 requested in financial to participate in our program, 125 pairs of shoes requested, and 100 requests for sports bras. We have never had to turn a girl away because her family couldn't afford the program and we've always been able to provide a pair of shoes for girls who need them. Would you help us keep it that way?
Time and again, Girls on the Run has proven to increase confidence and give girls an opportunity to let their star power shine. More than ever, girls need a place like Girls on the Run to make friends, be themselves, and have fun. All too often, families with financial burdens cannot afford registration or gear to make participation possible. It's heroes like you who make it possible for girls to join in the fun with a program that shows them anything is possible if they keep moving forward.
Girls in your community will be counting on you. Your gift of $45 secures a brand new pair of shoes and a sports bra for one girl, a gift of $175 secures a full scholarship for one girl, and a gift of $220 will give one girl everything she needs to participate – a full scholarship, a brand new pair of shoes and a sports bra. Your gift will allow a girl to participate in a program that will change the way she feels about herself, the way she views her body, and the way she understands friendship, teamwork, health, dedication, perseverance, accomplishment and fun. And she’ll have the gear to ensure she can move with comfort and joy. At the end of the season, she'll walk away with a brighter future, and a brighter future for even one girl means a stronger community for all.
