Spring 2026 Season

Registration for the Spring 2026 season of Girls on the Run is open through February 23! Join us and help spread the word.

Girls on the Run is more than a running program. We empower kids with the social, emotional, and physical skills they need to thrive, both now and in the future. In just one season, participants build confidence, strengthen friendships, and discover their limitless potential.

While the season may be short, the impact lasts a lifetime.

GOTR NOVA Day Camp

Our first GOTR NOVA Day Camp was a success! We're gearing up for a second camp and want your 3rd - 6th grader to join us!

Girls Have Power Day Camp
 April 6, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This date aligns with some local county school closures, making it a great opportunity to give your child a day of confidence-building fun, connection, movement, and empowerment.

• Open to 3rd–6th graders
• Limited spots available
• $100 registration fee per child
• Snacks provided
• GOTR Day Camp held at the GOTR NOVA office - 10301 Democracy Lane #100, Fairfax, VA 22030
• Participants must bring a packed lunch

Registration for GOTR Day Camp will close at 5:00 p.m. on March 24.

Summer Camp GOTR

The ultimate summer experience for girls ages 8–13, combining the empowering mission of Girls on the Run with nonstop fun and adventure at The St. James. In a supportive, inclusive setting, girls build self-confidence, embrace body positivity, and strengthen friendships through engaging lessons, creativity, and physical activity. From arts & crafts and storytelling to field games, rock climbing, and splashing through the indoor waterpark, every day is a new opportunity to grow, connect, and shine.

Trivia Night

March 31, 2026

Form a team of 2 or 4 and come enjoy a fun night of female-inspired trivia while supporting GOTR NOVA! In addition to guaranteed fun, pizza, drinks, snacks, and desserts will be provided.

There will be even more chances to win with our NEW Prize Pull - make a donation and receive a gift card/certificate or physical prize from a local business worth at least that amount. Everyone is a winner and proceeds will support GOTR NOVA!

International Women's Day at ABJJA

A full day created for women and girls to train, learn, and connect in a supportive and empowering environment. 100% of donations will be donated to Girls on the Run NOVA.

Events For The GOTR NOVA Community

Commonwealth Brewing Run The World 5K

Join Commonwealth Brewing and Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia to celebrate Women's History Month with a joyful 5K through Fairfax City. Your registration includes a finisher's medal and t-shirt (while supplies last).

Arrive by 10:30 a.m. and be prepared to start the 5K at 11:00 a.m. Stick around after the run to celebrate Commonwealth's release of their limited edition Run the World beer and women-owned business market from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Run The Greenway 5K & 10K

Calling all superheros...run the Greenway and support Girls on the Run NOVA! When you register for the 5K or 10K and select "Girls on the Run" as your charity of choice, you're showing your support!

Want to go the extra mile? Register to fundraise in your race registration and receive incentives along the way. Funds raised will support future Girls on the Run programming in Northern Virginia.

The Premier Lacrosse League Championship Tickets

The Premier Lacrosse League is currently offering FREE tickets for Girls on the Run NOVA and our community to attend the men’s and women’s professional lacrosse games for the 2026 PLL Championship Series tournament running at the St. James in Springfield, VA from Friday, February 27th through Sunday, March 8th!

Here's everything you need to know:

The Rosendin Foundation - Camp Build

TRF Camp Build is a FREE day camp for current 6th-8th graders (co-ed) to give them real hands-on experience and provide them the tools to continue to build.

Campers will complete hands-on projects, such as lamps, stepping stones, and doghouses, to be donated to the local community. Campers who have graduated from TRF Camp Build’s weeklong program are invited to return for advanced projects and learning opportunities.

Applications are due by March 31, 2026.
