IMPORTANT FALL 2025 DATES:

Girl Registration Opened: July 1

Season Starts: September 8/9

End of Season 5K: UAB Veterans Day 5k, Saturday, November 8

We're Going The Extra Mile!

Girls on the Run Birmingham is thrilled to launch The Extra Mile - a powerful new campaign dedicated to raising funds for our Fall 2025 Scholarship Program!

At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl deserves the chance to cross the finish line, no matter her financial circumstances. We’re committing to go The Extra Mile so that cost is never a barrier to participation.

Last fall, 60% of our participants received financial assistance to be part of our life-changing program. That’s over half of our girls who were able to cross the finish line thanks to financial support! We are committed to going the Extra Mile again this year, but we need your help to reach our goal! 

Every dollar raised through this campaign goes directly to our scholarship fund, supporting girls with the confidence, skills, and connection they need to thrive.

GOTR Birmingham hosted our first Camp GOTR last month, and what a fun week it was! Arts & crafts, running, games, popsicles, new friends, amazing teamwork, and an art show to wrap up a great week. If you missed it this year, make plans to join us for the next Camp GOTR! Girls on the Run Camp GOTR is SO MUCH FUN!
