Thank you for your interest in starting a site! Girls on the Run has multiple season start dates to accommodate our vast geographic area.

Season Dates may vary by site.

2025/2026 Seasons:

Fall 2025:

mid-September through mid-December

Main 5K date 12/6 in Riverside

Winter 25-26:

mid-December through mid-February

Main 5K date 2/28 in Coachella Valley

Spring 2026:

mid-March through Mid-May

Main 5K date 5/9 in Riverside

Coaches:

All new coaches should fill out this application. Anyone who has coached before, even at a different location, can fill out the return coach application.

We require two adults to be present at each session. The Head Coach, must be at least 21 years old and should be available for BOTH practices per week. Other Coaches can be 18 years and older. We have a Junior Coach program for those who are in high school and between 16 and 18 years old.

All adult coaches must complete a background check and live scan fingerprinting before they are able to start coaching. In addition, one coach from each team MUST be CPR/1st aid certified before the season starts. Girls on the Run will provide fingerprinting and CPR certification during coach training.
