Thank you for your interest in starting a site! Girls on the Run has multiple season start dates to accommodate our vast geographic area.

Fall Season Dates may vary by site. If your school/site isn't included below, please let us know what your best start date is and we will work with you to create an eight to ten-week season that fits your needs and our capacity to support you.

Most teams will start:

Week of September 8

End week of November 14

(depending on school vacation schedules, some sites may have different start and end dates)

Coaches:

All new coaches should fill out this application. Anyone who has coached before, even at a different location, can fill out the return coach application.

We require two adults to be present at each session. The Head Coach, must be at least 21 years old and should be available for BOTH practices per week. Other Coaches can be 18 years and older. We have a Junior Coach program for those who are in high school and between 16 and 18 years old.

All adult coaches must complete a background check and live scan fingerprinting before they are able to start coaching. In addition, one coach from each team MUST be CPR/1st aid certified before the season starts. Girls on the Run will provide fingerprinting and CPR certification during coach training.
