Program Policy – Site Participant Numbers
A site will run with a group size of at least 6 participants and no more than 15 participants with two coaches at each session or 20 participants with three coaches at each session. If an increase or decrease to participant size is requested, the site liaison for that particular site will need to contact Zhane Adams, Program Coordinator, at zhane.adams@girlsontherun.org.

Program Policy – New Site Funding
Girls on the Run of Southeastern CT will provide funding (either full or partial) obtained through donations, grants, sponsorship or community outreach to a limited number of new schools/sites each season. This policy is in an effort to bring new sites and communities that need our program, but don’t have the funds.

Program Policy – Financial Support for Sites
Girls on the Run of Southeastern CT will help returning/existing sites to find the appropriate funds needed to run the program based on the previous year’s program expense spread. GOTRSECT will work with sites to help identify possible grants. GOTRSECT is happy to assist with the grant writing, but the grant submission must be done by the site. Sites may also use Title 1 funds or seek community sponsorship. If appropriate funds are not obtained or granted by the season deadline, GOTRSECT may not be able to provide the program to that site.
