2017 KAFSC Purple 5K Dash to End Domestic Violence

Korean American Family Service Center

Come Together to Support KAFSC Housing Programs:

Rainbow House Shelter & Transitional Housing

KAFSC offers victim-survivors of domestic violence from our community with vital emergency and transitional housing services, providing a healing bridge between immediate crisis and long-term safety and self-sufficiency.

Rainbow House Shelter, a safe haven for victim-survivors in immediate crisis, provides emergency housing services and offers bilingual counseling in a culturally sensitive atmosphere. Clients are also referred to other appropriate services available at KAFSC's main office, such as additional counseling, case management, access to support groups, transitional housing services, legal advocacy, and job-training classes.

Transitional Housing services, which are often necessary on the road to self-sufficiency for many victim-survivors, are available through KAFSC’s Transitional Housing Program. Under this program, clients may be eligible for rent subsidies for up to 18 months, childcare assistance, counseling, case management services, and referral to other community-based organizations for additional services and resources, among others.
