The Empowerment Project at Grace M. Pollock Center

Girls on the Run Capital Area

THE EMPOWERMENT PROJECT

What would you do if you weren’t afraid to fail?

This was the question posed by 5 female filmmakers who traveled around the US interviewing ordinary women achieving incredible things to put the spotlight on the strong, female role models they felt were missing in mainstream media.

Join Girls on the Run Capital Area for a screening of the documentary movie, "The Empowerment Project" featuring Molly Barker, founder of Girls on the Run and The Red Boot Coalition, Ironman Hawaii Triathlete, and one of Runner’s World’s "50 Most Influential People in Running" in 2015.

Molly will be here to share her thoughts and experiences with us and following the screening, she will take questions from the audience. Together, we will inspire a new generation of girls.
