RACERS Superhero 5K
Benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton Harbor
SWMI RACERS has made the difficult decision to cancel the 6th Annual RACERS Superhero 5K, as well as the event as a whole moving forward. Those who took part in this event over the past 5 years had an amazing time supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton Harbor. As much as SWMI RACERS enjoyed offering this event, numerous factors such as continued scheduling conflicts with other area running events, high expenses to run the race, and large volunteer resources needed to run the event all attributed to making this unfortunate decision.
Please know that this news is hard to communicate, and the decision was not made lightly. Our full Board weighed the pros and cons of the event and came to an informed and unanimous decision to end this event. Our hope is that those who have participated and volunteered will continue to enjoy being part of our other annual events.
